In July 2024, mutual funds (MFs) remained optimistic about Indian equities, as reflected in their net investments of about Rs 25,089 crore. An analysis by ETMarkets revealed that around 17 stocks were added in the portfolios of over 15 MF schemes in July 2024, an increase from June 2024. Among these 17 stocks, 11 have achieved price returns of over 30% so far in CY24, one stock has turned into a multibagger, and 4 of them have delivered returns of 80-95% during the same period.
