Sebi introduces fast-track route for AIF launches to boost capital deployment

Sebi has introduced a fast-track mechanism for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), allowing non-LVF schemes to launch in just 30 days after application. This streamlines fund launches and accelerates capital deployment. Earlier, Sebi also simplified the accredited investor framework, easing operational bottlenecks for AIFs while maintaining prudential safeguards.
