Asian stocks opened higher on Thursday extending gains on Wall Street, where investors were reassured by the Bank of England’s intervention that helped push bond yields lower. MSCI’s index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was trading 1.30 per cent higher.
State-owned Bank of Maharashtra (BoM) on Friday reported a 45 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 1,218 crore for the March quarter,
The company has also informed the exchanges about changing the financial year from “1st January – 31st December” cycle to “1st April – 31st March”
