Tech Mahindra was the top gainer in the Sensex pack, spurting 3.32%, followed by IndusInd Bank, Infosys, HCL Tech, Maruti, SBI, TCS and Wipro. UltraTech Cement, Mahindra & Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv and Titan were among the laggards, shedding as much as 1.94%.
The largest fund house by assets managed was sitting on Rs 23,384.81 crore cash in March.
The short-term trend remains weak. But, having placed near the cluster support of around 22,000 levels, one may expect an upside bounce from the lows
