Many cancel equity SIPs as returns fall, others keep pouring in money

​​ The previous cancellation peak of 12.5 lakh was in January 2022. The average monthly discontinuation was 10.82 lakh in the past 12 months. The 12-month rolling return of the Sensex fell to a measly 0.5% in December compared with 2% a year before.
