Small-cap funds count new records as investors bet big

In December, small-cap funds added more than 935,000 folios, or accounts, data from the Association of Mutual Fund of India show. That was the most for a month in the equity fund category barring January 2021, when investors switched to flexi-cap from multi-cap funds due to a change in regulation.
