Derivatives market hints at rate cuts from January

Overnight indexed swap (OIS) rates, used to hedge interest-rate risks in Asia’s third-biggest economy, are already pricing in policy rate cuts starting January, traders said. However, such reductions could even be advanced should global rates begin to head south this summer.
