Sebi proposes depository receipts against REITs, InvITs units

India’s markets regulator has unveiled a fresh set of regulations concerning depository receipts aimed at real estate and infrastructure investment trusts. This initiative seeks to draw increased foreign investment into these vital sectors, providing overseas investors with a new channel to trade these units. Interested parties must submit their feedback on the proposals by August twenty-fifth.
