Gold and silver prices slipped on MCX Wednesday as rising U.S. Treasury yields and a stronger dollar weighed on bullion despite optimism over a potential US-Iran peace deal. Silver futures for July 2026 fell 1% or Rs 2,889 to Rs 2,67,230/kg, while June 2026 gold futures dropped Rs 1,121 to Rs 1,57,959 per 10 grams.
