IRB Infrastructure shares rose sharply on Monday after the company bagged NHAI’s Rs 9,270-crore TOT-17 project, its highest-valued 20-year monetisation award. The award covers 366 kilometres across the Lucknow–Ayodhya–Gorakhpur corridor on NH-27, along with a section of the Lucknow–Varanasi route on NH-731. The order win is being seen as a major boost to IRB’s portfolio, toll revenue outlook and asset base.
