Sectoral and thematic mutual funds outperform in October, delivering up to 9% gain. Check top 10 performers

Equity mutual funds have offered nearly 9% gain in October led by strong performances from sectoral and thematic funds that topped the return charts. There were 578 equity mutual funds in the said time period, of which 568 funds gave positive returns and 10 gave negative returns in October.
