Equity mutual fund inflows dropped in September as investors paused lump-sum investments amid market uncertainty. However, monthly SIPs reached a new high. Gold and silver ETFs experienced a surge in demand, attracting substantial investments. Debt funds saw outflows, largely due to tax requirements. Hybrid funds also recorded lower inflows compared to the previous month.
