Vedanta Group’s Sterlite Electric files DRHP with Sebi for an IPO

Sterlite Electric, part of the Vedanta Group, has filed its DRHP with Sebi to raise funds through an IPO. The issue includes a fresh equity sale and an offer for sale, each of 77.9 lakh shares. Promoters Anil Agarwal and Twin Star Overseas will participate in the OFS. Proceeds will fund debt repayment, capital expenditure, and general corporate purposes.
