Sept AMFI Data: Monthly MF SIP contribution tops Rs 24,000 crore mark for the 1st time

In September, equity mutual fund inflows dropped by 10%, but SIP contributions increased by 4% to over Rs 24,000 crore. New SIP registrations reached 6.6 million, with a total SIP AUM at an all-time high of Rs 13.81 lakh crore. The mutual fund industry saw record figures in folio count and investor base.
