New thematic schemes keep net equity fund inflows firm in August

The buy-to-sell ratio of equity funds in India hit an 18-month high of 2.1 in August, driven by new fund offers from sector funds. Sector/thematic NFOs reported significant net inflows, contributing to a total equity fund inflow of ₹1,15,960 crore. Sector funds now hold the highest assets under management among all equity fund categories.
