A Prabhudas Lilladher (PL) study revealed that 78% of value, contra, and dividend yield funds outperformed their benchmark, the NIFTY 500 – TRI. Specifically, 25 out of 32 schemes surpassed the index. In the largecap mutual fund category, 58% schemes outperformed the S&P BSE 100 – TRI, with 18 out of 31 active large-cap funds delivering higher returns.
