Hindalco shares surge 2% after company arm Novelis files 45 million shares in IPO

Hindalco’s shares surged 2% on the BSE during Wednesday’s trading session, reaching a peak of Rs 695 for the day. This rise followed news that its subsidiary, Novelis, had filed to offer 45 million shares in its US initial public offering (IPO), with a price range of $18 to $21 per share.
