RBI firmly focused to bring down inflation to 4%

Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das has highlighted the challenge of managing inflation due to frequent supply shocks. He stated that the central bank will respond with policy measures if these shocks persist and become widespread. Despite the recent rise in vegetable prices, the RBI kept the repo rate unchanged in August.
