Motilal Oswal MF buys stake in Jio Financial for Rs 754 crore in bulk deal

The domestic fund house has bought 3.72 crore shares in Jio Financial Services. After hitting multiple lower circuits in the previous sessions, Jio Financial shares jumped nearly 4% earlier on Friday. In about five sessions, including Friday’s low, the stock had lost about 23%, due to continued selling by passive funds
