Sensex derivatives turnover scales record high of Rs 6.06 lakh cr

BSE Sensex’s new derivatives contracts have posted their highest single-day turnover since relaunch, with Asia’s oldest exchange seeing a 77% jump in turnover to INR6.06tn ($81bn). The figure was achieved through 96.11 lakh traded contracts, while total open interest came in at 4.93 lakh contracts before expiry
