D-Street feels HDFC merger will not impact profitability

For HDFC, liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) improved from 80% to 128%, helped by a sharp increase in government bond holdings. G-Secs, as a percentage of assets, increased from nearly 6% in FY22 to 9%. Also, infrastructure bonds that reduce the overall priority sector lending (PSL) requirements are now close to 20% of liabilities and total loans.
