FII flows, cooling prices lift D-St despite Karnataka poll results, US debt concerns

The Sensex closed at 62,345.71, up 317.81 points or 0.51%, after rising nearly 1% in Monday’s trading. The Nifty closed at 18,398.85, up 84.05 points or 0.46%, after gaining as much as 1.1% to a high of 18,458.90. Both indices are about 2.7% away from their record levels.
