Nifty rallies above 18,000

The Sensex climbed 374.76 points or 0.62% to settle at 61,121.35 – closing above the 61,000-level for the first time since January 17. The Nifty 50 advanced 133.20 points to end at 18,145.40. The BSE midcap gauge jumped 1.04% and the smallcap index climbed 0.26%.
