Gautam Adani to start exporting electricity to energy-starved Bangladesh

Taking to Twitter, Adani, who recently broke into the top three in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, said that 1600 MW Godda Power Project in Jharkhand state will provide a dedicated transmission line for the exports by December 16. Asia’s richest man made the announcement in a Twitter post on Monday evening after meeting Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
