While Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and Bajaj Finance were the laggards from the top-10 pack, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, HDFC and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) were the gainers.
With the Q4 earnings season picking up pace, the companies are also rewarding their shareholders with dividends for the financial year 2024.
The numbers were mixed for IT companies as TCS Q4 results beat the estimates, while Infosys struggled with softer FY25 and revenue miss.
